Hey Yall! Check out yet another dope Momversation Mommy Masterclass! This conversation is the first of many focusing in on the mental health of children. Feel free to ask questions, we will get you answers!
Hosts Chrystal Grimes and Brittani Lane-White have been communicating with moms in the Moms 22:6 Facebook and Instagram pages about self care. Self care for moms is very important, but it is often overlooked. Self care has also been commercialized and limited to mani-pedis and trips to the hair salon. However, self care is so much more. This momversation is the first of many targeting the faulty thinking associated with self care in motherhood.

I’m a 35 year old new momma. I got married, pregnant, had a baby, and got divorced all in two years. Whew! The point of this group is to create what I needed from the moment the doctor told me I was expecting. Our only mission is to offer love, support, and practical tips on your journey to the vision of Proverbs 22:6 which is “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he won’t depart from it.” Even if you aren’t Christian, we all want our children to succeed. Join us and love with us. We are mommas supporting other mommas. #iLoveYou #OliviasMo
I work full-time. I’m a full-time student and full-time single mother of 3 amazing kiddos. I guess you can say I have a full plate. My boys are teenagers and my daughter is one which is proof that God has a sense of humor. This journey can be trying at times and I just want to be sure that I’m raising my kids the way God desires. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” So, it’s important to me that I get this thing right in His eyes. I thought it would be dope if there was a space for new and seasoned Moms who are trying to navigate their way through parenthood as God guides us through life. This is a safe space where you can be free to share your truth, get tips from other moms and just let your hair down. NO JUDGEMENT! My motto for parenting is simple: “No I’m not the perfect parent and yes I make mistakes, but did you die?!?” #GottaLaugh Welcome to Moms 22:6!
